I'm looking forward to seeing Obama and Air force one come to town, but also sad that he has to come here for a somber event. I've always wanted Obama to become president and I've been hoping that his time in office would be filled with positive results so that it would be proof that ANYONE no matter the ethnicity, can do the job and do it as well if not better than any of the other presidents. But enough of that, this is about those who lost their lives and honoring them while also giving praise to those who helped to stop the events before it got worse.
I ask everyone who reads this to take a moment to honor those that are no longer with us regardless if they are military or civilians who have lost their lives to a violent act while they were doing their jobs.
I, my family, and my community has always been loyal to the miltary, but in this past week, that loyalty has been strengthened and we are more determined to work together to defend each other. Some have come to understand that everyone needs to find the right balance between being an individual and being part of a community. An extreme of either concept IS unhealthy.
